The NDT Systems TG-110 package pairs the TG-110 (Nova TG110-DL) ultrasonic thickness gauge with the TG-505, a 5 MHz dual-element probe with a 0.30" medium tip and attached cable. It measures metals, plastics, ceramics, glass and virtually any other material that conducts ultrasound, making it a dependable everyday tool for corrosion surveys and wall thickness checks.
The gauge comes fully loaded as standard, with automatic probe recognition, adjustable velocity, single and two-point calibration, high and low alarms, a time-encoded B-scan and a 50,000-point data logger. Supplied with couplant, batteries, a carrying case, Certificate of Conformance and operating manual, the kit is ready for field work straight out of the box.

TG-505 medium-tip probe included
The 5 MHz dual-element TG-505 has a compact 0.30" tip and an attached cable, so it couples easily on curved surfaces and in tighter spots, with no separate probe cable to manage.
Automatic probe recognition
The patented auto probe recognition system identifies the TG-505, or any of the 10 compatible NDT Systems transducers, and sets it up automatically. Probes can also be selected from the built-in library.
50,000-point data logger
Log readings in 1- or 2-dimensional grids with 30-character file names, and review them in a spreadsheet-style GridView. Windows software transfers setups and data over USB.
Time-encoded B-scan and scan bar
The scrolling B-scan builds a cross-section profile as you move the probe, and an analog-style scan bar under the large 1/2" digits shows thickness trends at a glance, especially in high-speed scan mode.
Flexible measurement and alarm modes
Choose normal, differential or minimum-hold modes, and set high, low or combined thickness alarms with a visual LED. A coupling indicator confirms good probe contact.
Full calibration control
Fully adjustable velocity, single and two-point calibration, and auto zero ensure accurate results on any material. A velocity measurement mode calculates material velocity from a known thickness.
Grip-friendly, rugged and long-lasting
The custom all-aluminum enclosure with gasketed ends is shaped for a secure grip, even when wet with couplant. It weighs just 0.36 kg (0.8 lb), runs up to 150 hours on two AA batteries and works from -10°C to 50°C.

Complete your thickness testing setup
Add a step calibration block for daily checks and extra couplant. For other jobs, add the TG-560P for through-paint measurement, the TG-208 2.25 MHz probe for thick or attenuative materials, or a high-temperature TG-790 probe.
