NM01BL001746
This high-quality cable assembly from CNDT provides a reliable and flexible solution for signal transmission in a variety of applications, particularly within non-destructive testing (NDT) and laboratory environments. The cable features a BNC connector on one end and a Lemo 00 series connector on the other, connected by a 6-foot length of RG-174 coaxial cable.
The BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connector is a widely used quick-connect/disconnect RF connector known for its ease of use and reliable performance at moderate frequencies. It provides a secure and shielded connection, minimizing signal loss and interference.
The Lemo 00 series connector is a compact, high-precision circular connector featuring a secure push-pull locking mechanism. These connectors are favored in applications requiring reliable connections in tight spaces and are known for their durability and excellent signal integrity.
The cable itself is a 6-foot (approximately 1.83 meters) length of RG-174 coaxial cable. RG-174 is a thin and highly flexible 50-ohm cable, making it ideal for applications where maneuverability is important. While its signal loss is higher than larger diameter cables at high frequencies, it is well-suited for many low-power signal and data transmission needs within the specified length.
Manufactured or supplied by CNDT, a provider of testing equipment and accessories, this cable assembly is designed for durability and reliable performance. Circular Connector Details
Circular connectors, also called "push-pull" or "quick connect/disconnect", are commonly used in non-destructive testing (NDT), physics, and aerospace, on transducers, flaw detectors, and other applications.
This style of connector was pioneered several decades ago by the Swiss connector manufacturer LEMO. Because of this history, practitioners in the industries that use this connector style still tend to call this a "LEMO connector", even though there are now multiple manufacturers making compatible connectors. "LEMO" is a registered trademark of LEMO USA.
We source our connectors from multiple vendors. The connector we provide to you may be made by LEMO, or may be a compatible model from an aftermarket manufacturer.
Our circular connectors come in two different sizes. The L00 connectors have a diameter of roughly 0.25", and are often used in physics and engineering applications for interconnection between NIM/CAMAC modules.
