The Sonatest Sitescan D-50 is a broadband ultrasonic flaw detector in the popular, portable casing of the D-Series. It pairs a full VGA color display with a 50 ns, 200 V spike pulser and 0.5 dB gain resolution, ready for weld fabrication, corrosion detection, forgings and castings, and general UT inspection.
This BNC kit comes with DAC as standard plus the AWS and API software options, giving inspectors code-based defect sizing for structural welds and pipe straight out of the box. Integrated sizing software reduces analysis time, which helps service companies that work to different customer codes.

Full VGA color display
The 640 × 480 transflective color screen stays visible in any lighting, with adjustable brightness, a sunlight-readable high-contrast mode and a choice of color palettes, including black-on-white LCD emulation.
Broadband performance
A 200 V, 50 ns square-wave pulser, 200 MHz digitization at 10-bit resolution, adjustable PRF from 35 Hz to 1 kHz and selectable 50 or 400 Ω damping cover a wide range of probes and materials.
Fast setup tools
AutoCal calculates velocity and probe zero from two reference echoes, and Automatic Gain Control sets the gated signal to your chosen height. A reference waveform and active peak memory make comparisons quick.
Free UT-Lity Lite software
View and manage calibrations, A-scans, B-scans and thickness logs on the instrument and PC, create custom report templates and PDFs, and update firmware as new releases become available.
Room to grow
