The PARKER UW-115 Underwater Probe is a rugged and high-performance electromagnetic yoke specifically engineered for underwater Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) in accordance with recognized nondestructive testing standards. Operating on 115 V AC (Alternating Current), this probe is designed to induce a strong magnetic field in ferromagnetic alloys, enabling the detection of surface-breaking defects even when submerged.
Built for demanding underwater environments, the UW-115 features sealed leg sections to prevent water migration into the unit, ensuring reliable operation. The articulating legs provide maximum surface contact on various underwater structures and components. For ease of maintenance, the lower leg assemblies can be removed for cleaning and oiling.
The probe comes standard with a 3-foot (approximately 0.91 meters) 16/3 SJOW cable, with a metal strain relief at the rear capable of accommodating power cables up to 0.420 inches O.D., allowing for connection to approved underwater connectors or splices to the user's power cable.
