The Sonatest Veo+ is a smart, future-proof portable phased array instrument for composite parts, steel and austenitic stainless welds, structures and corrosion monitoring. This 16:128PR configuration addresses up to 128 elements for multi-probe, multi-scan inspections, while two conventional UT channels with a 400 V pulser handle TOFD and standard flaw detection.
Supplied as a complete customer kit with TOFD software, UTstudio+ analysis software, batteries, power supply and a Storm transport case, it's ready for weld inspection, crack detection, corrosion mapping and aerospace work straight out of the box. It's backed by a 2-year warranty.

Onboard live 3D scan plan
Choose from a range of weld geometries, place probes on the part at precise locations and add sound paths with skips to confirm coverage. The 3D scan plan then becomes a clear reference for your inspection report.
Guided setup wizards
Wizards for sound velocity, wedge delay, TCG, DAC, TOFD setup and encoder calibration come standard, with integrated help and optimization tips that keep the instrument performing at its best.
Remote control and connectivity
With WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and Sonatest's Xpair software, the Veo+ can be fully controlled from a PC over the network. The Xpair Cloud option lets an expert anywhere in the world take over the instrument remotely.
UTstudio+ analysis software
Manage inspection configurations, analyze data and build detailed reports on your PC, with custom views, extra gates, measurement tools and color palettes for PA, TOFD and conventional UT data.
Rugged and field proven
The enclosure is designed for IP66 and MIL-STD-810G and has been tested in the field for years. Hot-swappable batteries give about 6.6 hours of operation without shutting down.
Upgradeable in the field
Add the 32 pulser/receiver upgrade, FMC-TFM, phased array curved surface correction, CSV export or Xpair Cloud as software options when your work requires them.
