The Sonatest AlphaGage+ CP gives inspectors two gauges in one. In corrosion mode, it uses dual-element transducers to measure the remaining wall thickness of steel structures subject to corrosion, including through paint and coatings. In precision mode, it uses single-element contact, delay line and immersion transducers to measure thin and precise parts with 1 micron resolution.
A 3.5" color display that changes color and vibrates on alarm, 2,700 stored application setups, up to 27 hours of battery life and a design built for IP67 make it a versatile tool for both field corrosion surveys and precision quality control. Data logging, waveform and oxide scale features can be added later through simple field upgrades.

Save up to 2,700 application setups, view readings in GridView, and protect settings with password, supervisor and other locks.

A high-capacity rechargeable Li-ion pack gives up to 27 hours of battery life and charges through the USB port.
Field upgradeable
Add the Data Logger with B-scan and the live Waveform A-scan later through simple field software upgrades. With the waveform upgrade, Oxide Scale for boiler tube inspection can also be added.
