The OKOndt Sonocon B combines a flaw detector, an A-scan thickness gauge and a corrosion monitor in one instrument, switched by software. In the "Thickness gauge +" version it becomes an advanced A-scan thickness gauge that also performs corrosion mapping with thickness B-scans and C-scans.
Structured multi-dimensional files keep readings organized on large test pieces like pipes, tanks, ship hulls and boilers, with statistics available on the spot. At just 0.95 kg (2 lb), with an IP65 case and a -30°C to 50°C operating range, it's built for long days in the field.

Room to grow
The same instrument can also run the "UT" software version, turning it into a full-featured ultrasonic flaw detector with DAC, DGS and AWS evaluation.
