NM01DA200S
The PARKER DA-200S AC/DC Magnetic Yoke (230 V) is a rugged, high-performance instrument designed for magnetic particle inspection (MPI) according to accepted non-destructive testing standards. This versatile yoke allows inspectors to quickly and reliably locate surface and some sub-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials.
Operating on a 230 V, 50/60 Hz power supply with a current draw of 4 Amps, the DA-200S offers the flexibility to switch between constant AC (Alternating Current) and half-wave rectified DC (Direct Current) fields with a simple flip of a switch. AC is ideal for detecting surface-breaking defects, while DC can reveal some sub-surface flaws. The yoke can be used with dry powder, wet visible, or wet fluorescent magnetic particle techniques.
The DA-200S features a high-impact, glass-filled nylon housing for durability in demanding environments. It comes with a 10-foot (3-meter), 3-wire power cord for convenient operation. The yoke has a pole spacing that can be adjusted up to 18 inches (457 mm). It is designed for a duty cycle of 2 minutes on - 2 minutes off to prevent overheating.
