The JIREH ROTIX - 4 Probe Weld Frame Scanner is a versatile and robust manual chain scanner designed for encoded ultrasonic inspection of pipe welds. This scanner is engineered to accommodate up to four ultrasonic probes simultaneously, making it ideal for comprehensive weld examinations in a single pass.  

Its adaptable chain system allows for quick and easy adjustment to inspect a wide range of pipe diameters, from 10.2 to 96.5 cm (4 to 38 inches). Integrated with a precise encoder featuring a VEO/Prisma connector style, the ROTIX provides accurate positional data for reliable defect mapping and sizing.  

The scanner incorporates a user-friendly probe positioning system (PPS) for swift adjustments to probe spacing and centering over the weld. It features Primary Pivot Buttons (5.0 mm / 0.197 in) and Secondary Pivot Buttons (3.0 mm / 0.118 in), offering compatibility with various probe holders and wedges.  

Stability and smooth operation are ensured by the double wheel chain design, which effectively straddles the weld. The urethane-coated wheels provide excellent traction and minimize slippage, even on vertical surfaces. A built-in brake system allows the scanner to be securely locked in position on the pipe. Ergonomic handles offer enhanced control during manual operation and serve as convenient attachment points for accessories. Constructed with durability in mind, the ROTIX is built to withstand demanding industrial environments.
