The Glycerin Ultrasonic Couplant from Echo Ultrasonic is a general-purpose couplant renowned for its effectiveness on rough surfaces and highly attenuating materials. This product is available in a carton containing twelve 4 oz. (118 ml) bottles, providing a convenient quantity for regular use.  

Glycerin's inherent properties make it an excellent choice for various ultrasonic testing applications. Its medium viscosity and high acoustic impedance (2.42 x 10^5 gm-cm²/sec) ensure good sound transmission between the transducer and the test piece, even on challenging surfaces. Furthermore, it is well-suited for high-frequency delay line inspections, thickness gauging, and contact transducer testing on reference standards.
