Echo Ultrasonics — UltraSoniX™ US55-MV Broad-Temperature Couplant
Medium-Viscosity Ultrasonic Couplant with Corrosion Inhibition, 55 gal / 208 L DrumSKU: US55-MV
Overview
The Echo Ultrasonics UltraSoniX™ US55-MV is a medium-viscosity ultrasonic couplant designed for professional flaw detection and thickness-measurement applications across a broad temperature range. It creates a consistent acoustic interface between the ultrasonic transducer and inspection surface, helping ultrasonic energy enter the test material efficiently.
The medium-viscosity formulation offers a balance between controlled flow and surface retention. It spreads easily across the inspection area while maintaining sufficient body for manual scanning, mechanized inspection, and suitable vertical-surface applications.
UltraSoniX™ provides excellent corrosion inhibition to help protect compatible metallic surfaces during ultrasonic inspection. Supplied in a 55 gal / 208 L industrial drum, SKU US55-MV is suitable for NDT departments, service companies, automated inspection systems, fabrication facilities, and high-volume ultrasonic testing programs.
