The 30" Flat Bottom Vacuum Box (Model: 30FB) is a specialized vacuum device designed for leak testing butt welds on flat surfaces. Made with lightweight yet durable acrylic, this rugged vacuum box provides dependable performance across a variety of applications. It operates using compressed air and features an air ejector with no moving parts, ensuring easy and efficient operation. Simply apply leak detection fluid along the seam, place the box over the area to be tested, and open the air valve for quick and accurate results. With a 26 7/8" by 4" viewing area, the box offers a wide inspection field, and the tough rubber gasket ensures a tight seal during testing.

This vacuum box is shockproof and comes with all necessary hardware for immediate testing when connected to an air source. A 2 oz sample of SEAMTEST leak testing fluid is included, allowing users to begin inspections right out of the box. The vacuum gauge dials read 0-30” Hg, offering precise measurements. The leak testing fluid detects smaller leaks than most fluids and leaves no residue, making it a highly effective and cost-efficient solution for testing tanks, cylinders, and bulkheads.
