Echo Ultrasonics UltraSoniX™ - Broad Temperature Ultrasonic Couplant - HIGH VISCOSITY - 5 gal / 18.9 liter with two bottles, dispensing faucet
Echo Ultrasonics UltraSoniX™ is a high-performance, broad temperature range ultrasonic couplant with excellent ferrous corrosion inhibition. This HIGH VISCOSITY formulation is designed to remain in place on vertical and overhead surfaces, as well as on transducers, making it ideal for demanding inspection applications. UltraSoniX™ provides reliable ultrasonic transmission for flaw detection and thickness gauging on a wide variety of materials. It is water-soluble for easy removal and is environmentally and operator-friendly, containing no formaldehyde, nitrates, nitrites, or glycol ethers. This listing is for a convenient 5-gallon (18.9 liter) container that includes two dispensing bottles and a dispensing faucet for easy use.
Key Features:
Broad Temperature Range: Effective from 10°F to 220°F (-12°C to 104.4°C) for most flaw detection and thickness gauging applications.
High Viscosity: Stiff gel consistency ensures the couplant stays in place on vertical and overhead surfaces.
Excellent Ferrous Corrosion Inhibition: Provides superior protection against corrosion on steel and cast iron.
Water Soluble: Easy to remove with water or a damp cloth.
Environmentally and Operator Friendly: Contains no formaldehyde, nitrates, nitrites, or glycol ethers.
Lower Residue: Leaves less residue compared to many other ultrasonic couplants.
Glycerin-Free: Suitable for use on aluminum and carbon fiber composites.
Convenient Packaging: 5-gallon (18.9 liter) container with two dispensing bottles and a faucet for easy and controlled dispensing.
Applications:
Flaw detection and thickness gauging in a broad temperature range.
Inspection of vertical and overhead surfaces.
Applications requiring excellent corrosion protection for ferrous materials.
General ultrasonic testing on various materials where a high viscosity couplant is preferred.
Mid-volume usage with the convenience of dispensing bottles.
