Carestream INDUSTREX T200 | High-Speed, High-Contrast NDT Film
Maximum Productivity for Faster Exposure Times
INDUSTREX T200 is a high-speed, high-contrast radiographic film designed for the most demanding non-destructive testing (NDT) environments where efficiency is critical. As the fastest ASTM Class I film in the Carestream lineup, it allows for significantly reduced exposure times compared to the M100 or DR50-1, without losing the sharp definition required for code-compliant inspections. Powered by T-GRAIN Emulsion technology, T200 is ideal for use in multiple-film techniques or for penetrating very thick-walled components.
Key Performance Features
High Speed: Classified as a medium-speed film, it allows for shorter exposure times or the use of lower-strength radiation sources, increasing overall throughput.
Superior Contrast: Delivers exceptionally clear and high-contrast "indications," facilitating easier interpretation of weld flaws, corrosion, and structural anomalies.
T-GRAIN Emulsion Technology: The specialized grain structure provides a "clean," low-noise background, ensuring that even at higher speeds, the image remains sharp and readable.
Excellent Sensitivity: Maintains high sensitivity to a wide variety of radiation energies (X-ray and Gamma), making it a versatile "all-rounder" for shop and field work.
Extreme Durability: Features a robust protective top-coat to resist static, pressure marks, and scratches during handling in rugged industrial environments.

Ideal Applications
Thick-Walled Forgings: Excellent for penetrating dense steel castings and forgings.
Multiple-Film Techniques: Often used as the "fast" layer in a multi-film sandwich to capture different material thicknesses in a single exposure.
Pipeline Radiography: Ideal for large-diameter pipelines where speed is essential for high-production welding crews.
Aerospace: Inspection of heavy airframe castings and engine components.
