Overview

The Met-L-Chek D-70 is a nonaqueous wet developer designed for fluorescent and visible liquid penetrant inspection. Applied after excess penetrant has been removed and the inspection surface has dried, it forms a smooth white coating that helps draw penetrant from surface-breaking discontinuities and improve indication visibility.

The bulk liquid format is suitable for application through compatible spray equipment, pressure pots, or other approved developer-delivery systems. When properly agitated and applied, D-70 produces a thin, uniform developer layer that provides a contrasting background for visible dye indications and supports indication development during fluorescent penetrant inspections.

Application Guidelines

• Agitate or mix the developer thoroughly before use

• Maintain suspension during extended application periods when required
