The Sonatest Masterscan D-70 gives inspectors a fully capable set of tools and software for inspection across all applications. High near-surface resolution, strong penetrating power from its 450 V square and spike pulser, and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio are the hallmarks of the Masterscan range.
This BNC kit comes with DAC as standard plus the AWS and API software options, giving code-based defect sizing for structural welds and pipe straight out of the box. Features can be added and upgraded in the field, reducing downtime and keeping the instrument ready for new work.

The transflective color VGA screen stays visible in any lighting, with adjustable brightness and 9 color palettes, including a black-on-white LCD emulation mode.
All-day battery
Up to 10.5 hours from a full charge keeps the D-70 working through a full inspection shift.
Fast setup tools
AutoCal calculates velocity and probe zero from two reference echoes, and Automatic Gain Control sets the gated signal to your chosen height. A reference waveform and active peak memory make comparisons quick.
Encoded B-scan ready
A Lemo 4-pin encoder input supports encoded B-scan work, and USB gives quick access to the on-board memory from a PC.
Room to grow
Add Split DAC, DGS/AVG, TCG, BEA, Interface Trigger, Corrosion or Dryscan software later as your inspection work expands.
